Only souless demons would kill a pregnant woman like that to take out our troops. Words can't describe the horror of their atrocity. God bless the souls of those murdered by wanton cowards.

Agreed. The Fedayeen are like Hitler's S.S. They'll need to be hunted down and exterminated -- that's what will take a good deal of time.

Suicide bombing rarely helps to achieve a goal.

It didn't work in WWII, hasn't worked against Israel, and it didn't work on 9-11. It won't work now either.

The driver was reportedly a pregnant women, just how low will they go. Of course many of these suiside attacks aren't really done by suiside attackers, but by people who have love ones with guns to their heads. Peaceniks should be proud of the kind of cowards they support.

Car Blast Kills 3 Soldiers in Iraq

.c The Associated Press

CAMP AS SAYLIYAH, Qatar (AP) - A car exploded near a coalition checkpoint in western Iraq, killing three coalition soldiers, a pregnant woman and the car's driver, U.S. Central Command said Friday.

A Central Command spokesman said it appeared to be a suicide attack and occurred 80 miles east of the Syrian border and northwest of Baghdad.

In a statement, Central Command said the incident occurred Thursday evening about 11 miles southwest of the Haditha Dam, when a civilian vehicle approached a coalition checkpoint.

``A pregnant female stepped out of the vehicle and began screaming in fear,'' a statement said. ``At this point the civilian vehicle exploded, killing three coalition force members who were approaching the vehicle and wounding two others.''

It said the woman and the driver also were killed.

Jim Wilkinson, spokesman at U.S. Central Command, said the incident showed the Iraqi leadership was using desperate measures to remain in power.

Earlier this week U.S. officials have said a man posing as a taxi driver staged a suicide attack that killed four soldiers at an Army checkpoint.

``The more desperate the regime gets, the more desperate their tactics become,'' Wilkinson said. ``This is just the latest tragic example.''

where did you hear that the driver was a pregnant woman? Fox is reporting that a pregnant woman got out of car started screaming and as coalition forces approached her to help that the car blew up. They haven't said she was the driver of the car.

They haven't said she was the driver of the car.

I was just going by what someone had said on the other thread before it was pulled. I may have misread or that person may have misunderstood the Fox report.

"Last night approximately 18 km (11 miles) from Haditha dam in Iraq..."

That's northwest of Baghdad, I believe.

Once again the enemies used our decency against us. By sending out a screaming pregnant women, they got our soldiers to forget about caution and rush to her aid, which allowed the explosion to kill our soldiers.

The real question is that how do these people reconcile with their actions in their own minds, that they know we are decent and yet they are willing to exploit our decency as a weakness. What does it say about them that their sworn enemy are decent people. These are not misguided people, they are pure evil.

I know it's hard to deal with these atrocities, but there is at least one "Good Samaritan" in Iraq: the guy who dropped the dime of POW Lynch's captors.

Five die in suspected Iraq suicide attack-US

AS SAYLIYA CAMP, Qatar, April 4 (Reuters) - A civilian vehicle blew up at a checkpoint manned by U.S.-led forces in Iraq, killing three soldiers, a pregnant woman and the driver, in what U.S. officials said on Friday was a new suicide attack.

"Last night approximately 18 km (11 miles) from Haditha dam in Iraq, a civilian vehicle approached a coalition checkpoint. A pregnant female stepped out of the vehicle and began screaming in fear," a statement from war headquarters in Qatar said.

"At this point the civilian vehicle exploded, killing three coalition force members who were approaching the vehicle and wounding two others. The pregnant female and the driver of the vehicle were also killed in the attack."

The nationality of the troops was unclear. The incident was northwest of Baghdad in an area where special forces are present but where U.S.-led forces are thin on the ground.

"We are treating it as another desperate act of a dying regime that knows they're in trouble. It's unconventional warfare that continues to be used by the Iraqi regime," U.S. Marine Captain Stewart Upton told Reuters. Asked if it was considered a suicide attack, he said: "Yes."

Four U.S. soldiers died in a suicide car bombing at another checkpoint on Saturday, putting invading forces across Iraq on edge. Iraq promised more suicide attacks would follow.

A number of Iraqi civilians have been shot by nervous troops at checkpoints, when vehicles have failed to stop.

U.S. officials said earlier this week that they had seized the Haditha dam and were impeding Iraqi movements along the road north from Baghdad to President Saddam Hussein's home town of Tikrit. The road runs to the east of the dam.

I don't mean to imply that all Iraqis are evil, I'm refering to the Saddam loyalist who are doing this.

These suicidal Jihadist demons come from the deeper recesses of Hell.

Somehow, they got out and onto this planet.

We need to get them off this planet and back in Hell where they belong.

Jihadist beasts must die.
