I don't know where this will go, but it cannot stand. Columbia receives federal government funds. Those funds should cease until he is fired. He has the freedom of speech to say what he wants, but advocating the death of Americans during time of war should have consequences.

It's a tricky call, isn't it? I am fairly absolute regarding the First Amendment, but we are at war now. It really seems like the old Sedition laws apply at times like these.

The school is a business. The employee's outrageous comments have made the business look bad. The business should fire him. Add to that that the business gets government (our) money during time of war and the action the business must take is without question. Of course, besides having him fired, I would love the opportunity to see him at the wrong end of a rope. Just kidding.
