What the??? I thought KFYI was a conservative talker? Been awhile since I've been to the Valley, but when did this guy get on air there?

Easy now. Breath in................breath out..........

Slowly............That's it.

Now don't worry. Free speech is a double edged sword and these people are learning that you can say what you want but there are consequenses. His audience will tune him out and his Arbitron rating will drop and his station will have a hard time selling advertising on his show and pretty soon...........................................

Dixie Chicked

He'll be gone. Ain't the free market grand?

Feel better now?

Beat you to it. I gave up on Goyette long ago. He fell in love with Col. Hackface.

KFYI is excellent, but Goyette had a brain fart....again influenced by the Hack "reporting for duty". Hackworth seems to be revelling in his celebrity, as well as trying to sell his book.

Charles Goyette is not a conservative KFYI host, all the others are. Goyette said yesterday Rumsfeld was the worst secretary of defense since McNamara!

Charles Goyette is anti-war, anti-Bush !

Get rid of Goyette and keep KYFI sane!

I stopped listening to Goyette's liberaltarian whine long ago. Now we know that the rest make up for his silly rants, I'm in love with Barry Young and KFYI could be play him all day as far as I'm concerned....I do miss Bob Mohan :(

Yeah me too, can't believe they let Mohan and his doggie go.

Maybe they'll put Liddy and Hill in Goyette's spot. I'd rather have some afternoon laughs, than to get steaming mad at Charle's "the U.S. is screwed" bloggs.

Liddy and Hill would be a great replacement for Goyette!

I used to listen to Charles Goyette. Now I listen to Rusty Humphries followed by Michael Savage on 1010 AM dial from 4 (I do listen to Bruce Jacobs till 4) to 8 PM! I forget the call letters, but it's easy to remember 1010.

Yes, I was crushed when KFYI dropped Bob Mohan and Ken Hamblin. Bad moves.

Glad to hear I'm not alone in tuning away from Goyette.
Huge Hewitt & Laura Ingraham (960) are great, besides Rusty and Savage.

My husband and I don't listen to him either.

I agree with some of you guys here. After the week Liddy and Hill sat in for Barry, I told my husband they should have Goyette's spot. I usually turn KFYI off after Bruce Jacobs (he and Barry crack me up). :)

Austin Hill subbed for Goyette today.

Good, I've been turning him off for weeks. It really makes me mad because I love listening to KFYI almost all day but have to drive home in silence because I can't stand the creep!

I've asked them to move him to another time slot (3 AM would probably be OK).

REAL mistake by KFYI because people driving home will think that's what the station stands for.

1010 AM? Thanks Geezerette, I hate driving home in silence but I get so mad at Goyette I just turn it off. It's easier then fumbling with the dial to find something else I like.

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try.

My radio hardly never left KFYI for the last 4 years. But between Grant Woods and Goyette I have found that my radio does have a knob. The Goyette time slot is usually filled by 960 now, I really liked Charles on the stadium and local issues but between his constant juvenile laughing at his own jokes and his anti-war rant, he has been replaced on my dial.

The sad thing is I think he knows he is wrong on the war, but some kind of pride issue will be the ruin of his career.

Liddy and Hill do make a fine team!

I used to listen to KFYI exclusively, but thanks to Goyette I discovered Michael Savage.
