BULLETIN from the fever swamps of the Left: The administration might just plant weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Oh, and President Bush may cancel the 2004 election. These were some of the observations offered yesterday at a breakfast sponsored by the Columbia School of Journalism about the first week of war.

Katrina van Hurl is seriously demented. She is the only woman I've ever seen who becomes really ugly by force of personality alone. And I'm a T&A-lovin' macho red-blooded American who usually doesn't care about personality.

The administration might just plant weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I have heard of this more than once. But I think Saddam has so much of this stuff that embedded media won't be able to pin the government plant charge easily. To go with the Blix crowd, you'd have to believe that out of the goodness of his heart Saddam got rid of WMD after the inspectors left.

ABC radio news at the hour just played an eye-witness report of a Patriot hit-n-kill by a breathless embedded reporter 100 mi South of Baghdad. He was freaked by being told "incoming" and "put on your gas masks" and then relieved to see the Patriots launch from behind and then a bright orange intercept explosion up ahead.
Without that embedded report, this would;ve been just another "propaganda" piece trying to "cover up" the failings of the patriot. Whatdya bet that reporter now believes in Missile Defense?!?!?!? Vicky Clark is a frekaing genius if this was her idea.

Sounds redundant.

The military thrives on redundancy.
If the first sortie doesn't hit the target, scramble another.

Yep... with their weak minds, journalists are easy pray for a sort of military Stockholm Syndrome, where high-stress, dangerous situations cause them to begin to identify with their enemy -- Americans.
