More explosions rock Baghdad, several areas hit
BAGHDAD, March 27 (Reuters) - Several more powerful explosions hit central Baghdad and areas in the south and west of the capital at around 3.15 p.m. on Thursday, Reuters correspondents in the city said.
"There were three more big explosions," said Samia Nakhoul. Another colleague said many more blasts could be heard from around the city.
Arab television stations also said air raid sirens were sounding near the Iraqi information ministry.
