I don't know what commandpost.org is, but I can confirm this was reported on Fox News just a few minutes ago.
Explain that, Robert Fisk.

And if they fight they'll be bombed. Not an attractive spot, IMO.

Not surprising, though.

as far as a I know, I am the oldest male in my generation of my family. I have no intention of letting anyone threaten me...I certainly don't feel threatened...why are they making such threats?

MSNBC had a report that the Iraqis were taking children from homes and demanding that the oldest male in the house report for duty - with the implication that the children would be harmed otherwise.I was under the impression they'd been doing this for YEARS whenever Saddam felt the need.

When you're a "pool" reporter, you're technically not reporting for any one organization, since anyone can use your stuff, even though only one company is signing your check.

Yeah, but just remember...we are the bad guys...not Saddam and his "Boy Scouts".

not Saddam and his "Boy Scouts". If they really were Boy Scouts, the liberals would be pro-war.

CENTCOM stated this in their briefing this morning. They are removing all males from the household and forcing them to fight under threat of death to the women.

Martin Bormann, Hitler's right-hand man, ordered many "flying" military courts martials and summary executions of German troops. By the spring of 1945, the German troops could see them coming, so to speak, and summarily dealt with the NAZI's 'justice system."
Unfortunately, our Iraqi allies are not armed, and our people are going to have to forget about gingerly stepping around the outskirts of the towns and cities --- instead, we are going to have to move in to support any uprisings, or we will find the going even tougher later, because the citizens with the courage to defy Saddam, will not be there, having been executed by Saddam's "methods."
We must support them, now, while being necessarily cautious while making sure that the uprising is not an "uprising set up by Saddam" as a trap.
Still, we cannot delay, because the people must see that we are there, taking the same risks that they are. They're going to be looking at us, asking, "What are you afraid of? You have guns! We don't!"
Wherever we find that the Iraqis stand up against Saddam, we must be there right alongside them. When word of this gets around, Saddam will be finished; it'll turn into a race to see who gets to him first, his own people wanting his head, or the Allies wanting him dead.

I wonder how the Hollyweird lemmings will defend these atrocities by the people we're supposed to feel SORRY for?
