[history]
THE Marines at this chopper base near the Iraqi border are seething with rage and talking revenge over the treatment of American POWs - paraded on TV and some possibly executed.
"OK, they want to play that way. We can play that way," vowed one enraged pilot.

I don't agree with this and think NY Post is trying to give a negative image of US soldiers.
Soldiers that I know would never "label" all the Iraqis this way.
It is one of the things that put us above them.

I believe Malmedy caused a similar response.

Gee, whatta surprise that our boys might just get a teensy vindictive. < /sarcasm>
We're feeding and caring for how many POW's? And none of them have been raped or fed through a shredder? Gosh, I guess our side is falling down on the job a bit. < /more sarcasm>

The Siege of Baghdad
Like rats that run
And have no soul
The tyrants hide
In their hidey-hole
Beady-eyed beasts
No care but their own
Preparing to harvest
The seeds they have sown
Ruling by fear
Their deceptions ran wild
But they're nearing the end
Of their power and guile
Justice will win
The evil must pay
Destruction will come
It might be today

I stopped reading this article as soon as I read this.
Robert "Doc" Davenport, a Marine medic trained to both save people and kill them, was among those struggling to digest the appalling news.
The Marines don't have there own medics. What they do have is United States Navy Corpsman and Navy Corpsman are unarmed. So much for media accuracy.

EVERY Marine I have talked to in the last few hours, about 75, are ALL talking the same way. So you must not know very many real soldiers.
Since you obviously are just trolling. Here's an answer for you.
In combat, you are not fighting for an ideal, or a flag, or any belief system. You are fighting for the man next you, for those that are there with you, taking the same risks you are. There is no color barrier, or class system. The only thing you trust is your buddy and the M4A2 you carry.
I doubt your view would change if and when the Iraqis use the chemical weapons they have.

I don't think the average Arab in the street and certainly not Saddddammmnnnninsane
thinks that our men and women and nation could remotely
get a tough minded resolve like that.
May we show them hideously wrong.
May we do so safely.
May we do so thoroughly.
May all the evil ones meet their Maker if they
refuse to change their goals and attitudes.
May all the Iraqi military types be easily and quickly discovered--and obliterated post haste.
May all our personnel have extra--Holy Spirit fostered alertness, quickness and effectiveness.
Lord God, by Your Son's Name, Please, So be it.

You are correct after the malmedy massacre mostly the SS were not taken alive...They were just shot on the spot...But we all have to remember the iraqis opened this brutality and we shall avenge our fallen soldiers be it in the battle field or in a military tribunal.
God bless our soldiers.
