IMHO, I believe the "black" reference is significant to this. I think that more and more, many blacks are being drawn to converting to islam....the "alternative to the white man's religion." Recruitment is becoming more and more commonplace in America, especially amongst the prison population and black communities throughout urban America.

It's very funny how political correctness has levels of importance. He's a member of two politically correct groups but obviously "muslim" has a higher ranking, so the press ---which would normally downplay him being black has to emphasize it in this case to downplay him being muslim.

Being black has absolutely nothing to do with this horrendous crime he has committed ---it's very unlikely a black Catholic, or a black Lutheran would have done this.
