New York, NJ/Ct Freepers:
At the protest today, many of the pinko punk red diaper trust fund babies were holding signs promoting an antiwar rally in NYC next Saturday, the 22nd. They're coming your way and you should uphold the grand tradition of FR by meeting them with everything we've got.
They're talking about civil disobedience, blocking traffic and the like. (Direct them to the UN Building!) This is all the more reason why they MUST be countered.
I look forward to a good, large, patriotic crowd in NY next week.
Good luck.
If a large patriotic crowd shows up, they're most likely from out of town.
I am unsure what you mean by this, are FReepers the cowards and un-democratic?
If you were more familiar with the US then you would know that this is certainly not a democracy. As a democracy is three rapists and a woman, voting on the evening's entertainment.
Well let them continue to do so. Our rally is on the 23rd. Are they that intimidated that they can't even do it on the same day?
An unidentified supporter of U.S. militay action against Iraq (news - web sites), right, argues with an antiwar protester during an antiwar march and rally in Washington Saturday, March 15, 2003. Thousands of anti-war protesters converged on the nation's capital to voice their opposition to impending war with Iraq while a smaller number of protesters demonstrated their support for U.S. troops. On Saturday, March 22, all anarchists, socialists, communists, workers of the world, students, and any supporters will band together to form a black bloc of one.
We will be meeting at Bryant Square Park at 11:30(42nd and 5th Avenue- look for the black flags). From there, we will march to the main rally at 42nd and Broadway. It's time to escelate our actions as Bush and his warmongers are escelating theirs!
We are planning a breakaway march to a symbolic location (TBA at meeting point. Decisions made strictly through concensus) where we will have *non-violent* civil disobedience or a sit-in. Once again, all decisions will be made through consensus.
Remember to come in black and bring your masks as we are to be a black bloc of one, showing solidarity, unity, and equality, but most of all- symbolic anonymity and anonymity to the police who use video and photo cameras to document protests and protesters. link
(so he might well have been a frenchie.. )
From what I recall, that's where they're probably headed anyway. That's where they went last time. I wonder if they plan on assaulting any police horses this time around? Lovely bunch...
