Key line: "The bomb produced a fine flammable mist which created an inferno over a wide area."
Pucker factor quotient for Hussein and his human shield friends: 10. I'd grab my hookah and my Birkenstocks and jump on the first camel out of Baghdad for sure.

all of this gives me a warm fuzzy, however, I think it is for naught. We ain't going to Iraq. I'm fairly certain.
Prove me wrong, folks? I would love to be encouraged through reprimand.
To: bulldawg
Any way for terrorists to get their hands on these?

Is it a mushroom cloud? No, it's a really friggin big manatee!!
To: stanz
No... It needs to drop out of a c-130 and be directed by GPS... This isnt a pipebomb sitting in a random warehouse, thats for sure.

I tend to agree with you. I fear all of the troop buildup has been for naught. The US will once again be shamed into not taking any action against Iraq.

I mean seriously. Hoe long before we have an arsenal of these things and begin exporting them to "allies"?

OK here is your reprimand. I don't think we put the 250,000 troops there without the intention to use them. And I don't think Bush is going to blink. The ONLY thing that I believe could trip us up would be a massive Iraqi move toward disarmament. But with all the apparent screw ups on our side, I don't think Sadamm will go that far.

"Any way for terrorists to get their hands on these?" It was reported in 1993 that the Iraqi's had obtained three Columbine Heads for Fuel Air Bombs. A Columbine Head is our top secret ignitor for these bombs. (Do a search on Columbine Heads and you'll find this info.)

I think we intended to use them....three months ago. But I think the nerve is gone. This last round of footsie with the UN unnecessary legally and unwise politically was a death blow, in my opinion.
When putting in the troops I don't think anyone thought this was the game plan.

Sadly, I'm beginning to agree. We are the impotent giant. Incredible power, without the will to use it in our own interests and for the good of the world. Thank W for taking Powell's advice instead of Cheney's and Rumsfeld's....
