Foreign Ministry fumes over BBC report
By THE JERUSALEM POST INTERNET STAFF
Foreign Ministry officials were furious with the British Broadcasting Corporation after a BBC report cast doubt on the authenticity of an Israeli statement that said the suicide bomber in Wednesday's attack carried a letter linking the attack to the September 11 attacks.
Foreign Ministry officials said it was unthinkable that the BBC should attribute ulterior motives to the Israeli and question their integrity when the BBC "routinely accepts Palestinian lies."
A BBC spokesman said the news agency had failed to receive proper conformation of the letter's existence from the Israeli side and as such had reacted cautiously to the report. The spokesman also reiterated the BBC's commitment to unbiased fair reporting.
However, Foreign Ministry officials said the BBC had long history of anti-Israel bias in covering the conflict with the Palestinians.

This morning's BBC World News coverage showed their bias through and through, It started this way:
"Yesterday a bus bombing in Haifa, 15 dead. Today an Israeli raid on a Palestinian refugee camp in Gaza, 11 dead."
The 15 dead Israelis were mainly innocent children coming home from school. The Palestinian dead were gunmen defending a wanted terrorist. How does the BBC get away with making them sound like they are equivalent actions?
The rest of the report featured Barbara Plett, who always takes the Palestinian side, describing the destruction in the "refugee camp" (really a Palestinian town).
BBC reporting is totally biased and total trash. CNN, NPR, ABC, CBS, NBS, and MSNBC are usually no better. Fox News usually tries to be balanced, as does Jim Lehrer on PBS, but they are exceptions, not the rule, in the American media.

The moral equivalency of the left wing never fails to amaze me also. Ammoral people are much more corrupt than immoral people because ammoral people do not recognize the difference between good and evil. Political correct adherents are trying to make America a neo nazi nation of ammoral hypocrites. The public shcool system has helped this move tremendously.

Most of the bylines on BBc stories sport Arabic names. Draw your own conclusion.

On the topic of bias: the New York Times yesterday lept putting the death toll between 10 and 12, and then of course dedicated more than half the reports to 'Pali death tolls'.

Reminds me of the BBCs Orla Guerin report titled 'How the Israelis stole Christmas'.
