Michael Waltrip drives through grass to praise Bush (LV 400)
Posted on 03/02/2003 3:59:20 PM PST by Hillary's Lovely Legs
Michael Waltrip came in third today in the Las Vegas 400.
After the race ended, Michael Waltrip left the track and drove through the infield and made a spectacle of himself.
When confronted by reporters, Waltrip said that he had something important to say for the past week, and the reason why he drove on the grass was to call attention to himself.
Waltrip stated that he was 100% behind President Bush and thanked God for his leadership. He also said that we Americans need to be behind him and the military during the war with Iraq. He praised God, America and President Bush.

At least I'll be consistent.
Who gives a Rat's ass what some celebrity auto racer thinks about politics or foreign relations? They should all keep their mouths shut.

They should all keep their mouths shut.Perhaps, but since they will not it is good to have some pro Bush people talking.

Who'd have thought a Ford would win with all the concessions NASCAR has given to Chevrolet?

When he won at Daytona two weeks ago he thanked God. He was my third fav driver because of his religious beliefs. He just moved up to #2.
Thats one thing I like about NASCAR is the prayer before the race and the first thing out of the mouth of a few of them on the winners stand is a TY for God.
