I first saw the power of Free Republic the night CNN was going to allow active Presidential candidate Algore substitute for Larry King. When I called CNN to express my displeasure, you could hear the exasperation in the person's voice. Like he had answered several hundred phone calls.

While the RNC sent out the initial request, Free Republic was like an amplifier.

According to the liberals, when 65,000 people march in San Franciso against President Bush, it is "democracy in action", and the "will of the people". When 1,000 people call CNN, it is a "right wing conspiracy". When 10,000 people protest the election in Florida, it is "frightning".

*getting down on knees again* Thank you, Lord, for only making me answer the call-in lines for CNNfn. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

When the Electoral College functions as designed, it is a take over.

When the people support their President by overwhelming majorities, it is evidence of the Bush cult.

When our government acts to protect us, it is fascism.

When anyone disagrees with the Left, it is a conspiracy.

God Bless us, FReepers, everyone!!!!

This is good!

And when 80 people protested the attempted rigging of the illegal recount in Miami-Dade County by the canvassing board, "a whiff of fascism was in the air."

I totally agree with you regarding the left's interpretation of democracy in action. When the right speaks out it is a bunch of activists but when the left speaks out it is law abiding citizens with great concerns. Bah wa wa.
