In other words, they have put a "Lowjack" on him. I wonder if they can shut him down by remote control like they can a stolen car?

What's the rental charge for a handgun for a few minutes and the price of a single bullet?

Why do they need GPS, I thought Clinton had armed, highly-trained guards around him at all times to protect the population from him...

This is very interesting. What the article didn't say and I am sure will happen is that if a sex crime occurs and Brian is in the area, he would generally be the suspect. Not only that, he probably agreed to the typical rules of parolees. That he and his residence can be searched anytime by police officers. Police officers can build a case against him immediately if they find out he was in the general area of the crime and do a crime scene analysis before Brian can clean himself up. The GPS locator will also be used as evidence in court to support any other circumstantial evidence that he was in the area when the crime occured.
I actually like the idea that serial sex offenders can be tracked at all times.

And ... the cost of monitoring this monster ...?? Are these do-gooders going to give up their weekends to watch over this guy ...?? Will the cost of prison be offset ...?? I don't think so.

The Romans and many other cultures had a solution ... banishment under severe conditions.
DeVries should be released in the middle of the Alaskan interior. No food, no water, no matches. Just a cloak.

Perhaps a non-removable collar with a moderate explosive charge that goes off automatically if he gets within 20 yards of a child. Although I guess that might be traumatic for the child.

Here's a GPS device that'll keep him from molesting any other children:

Isn't there plently of ways to disable these devices? It may sound cruel but child molestors should be locked up for life in my humble opinion. There is no way to cure these sickos.

Is this to assist them in finding the victim's body afterwards?
