Oh how bold Dan sounds..but of course he intentionally misses the point of well deserved criticism. "Any journalist" might take the interview, as Rather suggests...but Saddam didn't grant the interview to "any" journalist. Saddam gave the interview to someone he assumed would go easy on him.
