He could turn out to be the greatest Commander in Chief ever of the US.
I am convinced the Bush (his father too, by the way) absolutely HATES the idea of men and women dying in war. Absolutely HATES it.
Yet the Bush family knows war is essential to stop evil.
The Bushes are truly compassionate, yet take their duty seriously. The combo makes for legendary leaders.

There's nothing "soft" about this account. Bush is simply exhibiting the outstanding leadership skills he learned from his father. Like Bush-41, Dubya displays the easy grace of good manners, comfortably deferring to those of lesser rank. And as with Bush-41, the display is real. Good leaders have genuine concern for their men, and take care of them before taking care of their own needs.

Wow - what a great article. It's gotten me a little teary-eyed - I can just picture President Bush with that young sailor.

The world MUST be coming to an end. A USA Today article of PRAISE for President Bush?
The sailor smartly saluted his commander in chief. His commander in chief smartly saluted him back

WOW, how nice. It's refreshing to find a journalist who has noticed the wonderful things people are doing for each other and how much our President has encouraged those acts.
It's called honesty in journalism. It's been so long since I've seen it I almost forgot what it looked like.
