My first thought was Matt Millen, who won the Super Bowl with the Raiders in 1980-1 and the Washington Redskins in 1991-2. But ... he won two others as well.

I'll get it, need just a little time ...

Wilkes sounds promising.

I think Wilkes ended his career with the Clippers.

It has to be somebody who played seven years - otherwise that particular number wouldn't have been chosen.

Its a trick question...like the one about the movie star who'd been in 100 films and fathered more than 100 sons and daughters. answer: Rin Tin Tin.

No go on Wilkes: "Wilkes was a member of four NBA championship teams - one with Golden State in 1975, the year he was named Rookie of the Year - and three with the Lakers (1980, 1982, 1985)."

Not Walton...played from 74 to 88 in the NBA...much longer than 7 years and his championships weren't in those years.

The real problem could be, if this was a so-so player, who was lucky enough to be a reserve in both his first and last seasons....

Consider this a bump to make sure I go back and look at this.

No championships in between the first and last year... Russell won something like ten.

Can't be Buckner, he started with the Bucks in 76 and they won their last Championship in 71-72.

LOL. But, you are right in that it might be a trick. Is a NASCAR driver a pro athelete? Should we look at tennis players? A female athelete? Everybody is focusing on the "Big 3" team sports.

Chuck Bednarik played linebacker for Philadelphia from 1949 to 1960. The Eagles won the championship in '49 and '60 but not in between.

Chuck Bednarik retired in 1962

I think you need to go over to your friend's house with a baseball bat and come home with an answer...(I'm kidding, but barely.)

Grrrrr ... I got the answer from him. What a bunch of BS.

Supposedly the answer is Keenan McCardell who just won a championship with Tampa in his "last" season and also (get this) ... with the Redskins in '91 when he never played a down for them due to being on the IR.

I apologize for wasting everyones time with such a load of crap
