I have gotten like that with all of Fox News Alerts -- they go on sometimes every few minutes. A lot of house fires in CA have made it to the News Alerts. I usually just tune them out!

I can understand why they use it so much; heck, I would be flipping the Fox News Alert thing for every breaking news story if I was a the controls...it would be fun to get that sucker going. But, they do need to tone it down from what I hear (I rarely actually get to see Fox News).

Fox is getting BAAD. I once counted four Fox News Alert bongs in a row -- car chase here, amber alert there, snow storm pileup, sheesh.

I agree with you. Back when I was watching network television, if there was an alert, you knew that it was something to pay attention to.
