IMO, the main point of the border groups is to draw attention to the problems on the border and the unwillingness of the feds to properly police the border. They can't stop all the illegals as it is, and it's better that they don't give the lying weasels in the pro-illegal immigration movement ANY ammo to use against them. Now the propagandists can seize on this one incident and claim the groups are breaking the law.
