What REALLY ought to make them nervous though, is the fact that we talk about it in public and dont care who is listening That is one of the reasons why it should be discussed publicly.... to prevent it from actually occurring by ensuring that the tyrannical bastards know the stakes.

No doubt. 1/2 of this country is utterly worthless (side note).

Recite the MOST importan gun safety rule. Given that some people manage to mishandle firearms they know are loaded, I'd say "Always keep your firearm, loaded or not, pointed in a safe direction, with your finger off the trigger unless sighted on something you intend to destroy."

I'm really surprised that the media can't see the relationship between the first and second amendments. The second amendment insures all of the others. I'm really surprised they can't seem to figure out first amendment supporters are not equipped to 'go to war' if their constant attacks on the second amendment succeed in making them enemies instead of annoyances.
This is not England or Australia.

A question to be added to the gun control test in the near future:
8) Your right to bear arms is a priviledge that Dianne Feinstein or Gray Davis has complete jurisdiction over.
True or False?
(If you answer false you will be denied your priviledge to own an assault handgun.)

What the Left fears most is that we might someday devolve into a Somolian, Colombian-like society of AK47 toting urban guerillas out to claim seperate turfs. What they fail to recognize is that open borders, lack of assimilation into American culture, and their social engineering via the tax code are all ingredients that when combined, may produce such an undesired outcome.
Sadly, such efforts to limit personal posession of firearms will have a fatal effect at such time when respect for our institutions has waned, and or, been corrupted by those who have been entrusted with preserving them.
A simple trip into Oakland after a Raiders superbowl loss(or win) with an application for a weapon purchase in hand might expose the insanity.

I can see why wise citizens of the United States don't trust their own government. If we look at the judicial system we will get our answer. Many figure that if justice can't be done in a court of law, then they will take justice into their own hands.

1 An important lesson that zero-tolerance school administrators should learn is that toys are not guns. True or False? dead on, pardon the pun.
