"I don't think in this climate we can be overzealous," he told reporters in Sydney > > That is were you are wrong. Overreactions occur every day at airports.

They smell like sewer gas. Once you've taken a whiff, you never forget. Even though you want to.

Was going to criticize the poster for defaming gays who don't shower.
(Not really)

As soon as I saw that headline, I knew there'd be a durian involved in this story. Bizarre looking fruit, really does smell bad, but I've never tasted it.

In Indonesia there is a saying "When the Durians go down - the sarongs go up"

Ate a lot of them in Thailand, Malaysia, S'pore and Indonesia...
back in the '60s and '70s...
YUM!

What wimps! All they need is a little training in self-defense against fresh fruit.

They smell pretty bad, but I have to admit, I had some jelly candies made from durian that were pretty...um...good.

I sort of figured it must be about durians from the title. The fruit is really quite delicious - the smell does take some getting used to.

A college professor decided to have a "Durian day" in class, and invited all the oriental students to bring their favorite dish.

I tried some crackers flavored with the stuff, and thought my head was going to explode. It was as if gasoline fumes went raging through my head. I ran out of the room while gagging.

Someone once described the stuff as a mixture of turpentines and dog turds.

Nasty stuff.
