Yes!! Awesome! He plays with the big boys, he faces the big boys' rules.

Muhammed and Malvo are nothing more than extreme cases of ideas having consequences. Put several thousand guys with two-digit IQs in front of death-to-america sermons long enough and the consequences are totally predictable. Nobody should need to be Albert Einstein to figure it out.
They can do whatever they want with the 17-year-old as far as I'm concerned. The guy I'd really like to see behind bars is the guy out there in Seattle or Portland who was preaching those death-to-america sermons. That guy for sure is older than 17 and has no excuses.

Was it ever established for absolute certain that Malvo WAS 17? I remember there being some question as to his actual age.

I remember seeing at least one article from a Jamaica paper that seemed to be based on school records that made the 17 age at least highly plausible.

Governor Ryan can't do anything about this one.
Both of these scumbags are going to be pushing up daisies and justice is going to be served.

Was it ever established for absolute certain that Malvo WAS 17?Good question. Let's cut off his head and count the rings.

Both of these scumbags are going to be pushing up daisies and justice is going to be served. They didn't torture their victims, so I do not see why this has to be a death penalty case, although I know it is.
The real story of who may be behind these attacks is going to die with these men, because shortsighted public opinion wants them to fry. Just like with McVeigh.
To: Steve Eisenberg
You're forgetting that McVeigh was only executed so fast because he waived all appeals until nearly the end. Even if they are executed in the end, Mohammed and Malvo still have several years to live. Plenty of time to reveal what they know.
To: Steve Eisenberg
so I do not see why this has to be a death penalty case, The multiple killings in one event are what will invoke the Virginia (and Maryland, now that they have a human Governor) death penalties.
The real story of who may be behind these attacks is going to die with these men,
That's a serious, legitimate concern.

Plenty of time to reveal what they know.About ten seconds worth?

Hate to say it, but Seattle has more than its share of radical nutcases. Anti-American, hate-filled, pro-Commie, militant, enviro-wacko, knee-jerk Democrat-Lovin types, and they elect nutcases like Maria Can't-do-anything-well, Patty Osama Murray, Jim Dum-Dum McDermott, Gary (I'll take Chinese money gladly) Locke. Their shrine is a giant statue of Lenin in the Fremont district, and the main area on the U.Wash. campus is "Red Square." On the plus side of the ledger, we've got two decent radio stations, and a great Freeper group.
To: Steve Eisenberg
I'm with you on McVeigh, but haven't seen any evidence or plausible suspicion that others were involved in the DC shootings.

I've been wondering lately if this kid has a Jamacian accent and we wasted time (and lives) because Moose didn't want to assume he was black.
(Hear Moose is very "sensitive" to this sorta thing.)

I'm serious. Somehow or other there's somebody or some group of people out there who need to be prosecuted for this stuff. A 17 year old doesn't just go off shooting twelve people for funsies.
