Have you gentlemen considered offering your ears to the local constabulary for determining the backgronds of people leaving bomb threats, demanding ransoms, etc.???

Hadn't thought of it, to be truthful. I always saw it as more of a party trick than anything else, but you have a point.

I would split my sides if blacks would talk like that and try to make fun of us.

Right, we should all give more weight to the spirit than to the content.

Thanks for agreeing. Life was much more fun before political correctness came along. Interesting that "correct" as defined by left wing is diametrically opposed to right, as in right wing, another of their definitions.

Lets try hard to remember to laugh. At, with and about each other. It worked all of the years that I was in the military, and we had it all.

Maybe he's commenting on the fact that the schools are not teaching african-american children to speak correct english, which in turn effects their future attempts to get a job. Most high-paying positions outside of sports and entertainment are not going to be offered to someone that "axes" a question. I certainly would not hire someone who was unable to properly say "ask." Yet, no one - not the media, not african-american leaders, politicians, and certainly not teachers, ever adresses this significant and growing problem.

Thank God tasteless humor is not illegal ... yet

It will be when the thought police arrive, then we'll all be in jail, including me.

You got it! Used to listen to the Lone Ranger, the Shadow, Amos 'n Andy, Uncle Don read the funnies on Sunday until he referred to the kid listeners as "the little bastards" on a live mike, Helen Trent, "Will a Little Girl from a Mining Town find Happiness as the Wife of a wealthy and influential man?", Jack Benney and Rodchester, Molly Goldberg and more, so many that I can't remember the names of.

A more accurate term is American of African descent, American of Arab descent, etc.

The more accurate term is American.

"Amos and Andy"

I really miss that show, I use to laugh so hard tears would roll. Good wholesome humor. Another was Archie Bunker.

How about Inner Sanctum and the creaking door? That one scared the cr** out of me. My brother used to sneak up behind me and scare me when it was on. Mom used to listen to Helen Trent, or was it Stella Dallas? Funny story about Uncle Don, love it. There was Jack Benny, Burns and Allen, I could go on and on. No TV necessary then, our imaginations ran wild...

Then again, this is America, and if he wants to publicize his bigoted attitude, that's his business and none of mine. But I don't blame the NAACP for asking the guy to cut it out.

Just for fun, can you point out the Letter in NAACP that stands for All people? What fun, a organization formed to advance a SINGLE RACE calling others bigoted. Pot, kettle, black!

Our imaginations worked better than the TV. Stella Dallas was another ongoing heroine story. How could I have forgotten the Inner Sanctum? It really was scary! Burns and Allen were the funniest husband and wife comedy team on the radio. They were better shows than most of the sit coms are now. Fun to remember!
