I'm sure there are others....Let's hope the others who do use their knowledge more effectively than what is shaping up as a fiasco if Republicans can't even get their own way in the opening days of the new session.

I mean, this is not about legislating but just setting up the groundrules for real discussions later.

The longer the delay in this, the less time for passing legislation.

Well the Republicans have the majority... if legislation, even legislation that the Dems want, doesn't get passed I don't think the public will side with the Dems...
