C-SPAN2 ^ | January 14, 2003 | THE BELOVED DEB

The Democrats are in the process of shutting down the Senate to stop the GOP from chairing Senate hearings.

This is going to be two years of total war. Let's see if the media notices!

I don't have time to read the whole thread right now, but from a quick overview, I'd say I want you to get your chin-strap and helmet and be prepared to suit up.

We're sending you in as the new Monster Back.

I can't help but wonder if we are just going to continue to sit idly by while the Rats completely sabatage our government and ignore the will of the people or if eventually we are going to realize that they will never play by the rules and go in and physically remove their sorry obstructionist a$$es!

"This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it." - Abraham Lincoln (first inaugural address)

Interesting comments..thanks.....but never happen....consider the uproarafter the 2002 election..remember how several Dems...like Hillary..made big speeches vowing to eliminate the electoral college....I said it'll never happen, becuase it would eliminate he clout of the small EC states...like SD, ND, Del...I couldn't wait to hear Tommy Daschle explain to his fellow SD's why he wanted to get rid of the EC

I would definitely be in favor of restoring the selection of the upper house to the founding-era custom except for one thing. Senate votes are the closest we have to fair elections since Gerry-mandering has all but guaranteed most House members their seats for as long as they want them.

That's a reason for adopting my idea, and changing the method of selecting not senators, but members of the House (by lot, as in Athens, I would suggest.)

Why would you waste time in talking to socialists/communist? A bunch of talk will NEVER get these people to react.

I understand that they're not going to change their ways, but it's important to let them know that there are still some of us out here who are not sheep being blindly led by them and their ilk.

I just put up a new thread that sends people here to read in case they missed what is going on. It is breaking news for people to call their Senators now!

Call your Senators NOW!
