It's the lake they were using the equipment in. I'll get more details the next time they announce it. I don't see it on any other station right now.

Did you hear them say it was in the lake, and not the bay?

today with dna, and high tech, you wonder why people even bother with murder. chances are, they'll get caught!

most people are not murdered by strangers, but by family, friends or business associates.

I concur with scupoli , I believe it was the bay, weather was pretty lousy there so tomorrow we may know for sure what it is. The other spot, the lake in question, has been a popular dumping spot in the past as well tho. Many bodies have been retrieved from there before.

Video of "husband"

I suppose it was too much trouble just to divorce her?

Still Alive?

No Leads in Investigation
for Missing Pregnant Woman

M O D E S T O, Calif., Jan. 6 — Police say they're less hopeful that they'll find pregnant Modesto woman Laci Peterson alive. It's been nearly two weeks since she disappeared and police are still unable to eliminate her husband as a potential suspect.

Last night, local Seattle news reported that a pregnant woman had been shot by her husband who then turned the gun on himself, wounding himself in the face. Woman died. Baby died. Couple looked very nice, were educated, lived in a reasonably OK neighborhood. Then, the day after the shootings, the victim's pretty sister came on cool as a cucumber and said it was NOT the husband's fault, it was fault of docs at Seattle hospital who had refused to admit the shooter for alleged psychiatric symptoms the day before the incident.

Maybe, maybe not. But the lack of emotion in the sister, her dramatic, heads-up delivery straight into the camera looks exactly like the setup for a high ticket lawsuit.

I've been hoping that Lacie would be found alive. Also had a few movie scenarios in which she left of her own accord or was spirited away by a gang of satanists who wanted her baby....We shall see. Anything could get pulled out of that bay.
