FORT WORTH -- A Fort Worth man who helped remove and dump the body of a homeless pedestrian lodged in the windshield of a car entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors this afternoon and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

In a short hearing before state district Judge James Wilson, Clete Denel Jackson, 28, pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence and agreed to testify against Chante Jawan Mallard, the woman accused of hitting Greg Biggs then driving home and leaving him in the windshield where he died of blood loss and shock.

In exchange, Jackson -- who was facing up to 20 years in prison because he had a prior felony conviction -- was sentenced to 10 years in the penitentiary. Prosecutors also agreed not to prosecute Jackson's girlfriend, Raini Dae Ellingson, who was facing perjury charges because of inconsistencies in her statements to a grand jury and at bond reduction hearing.

She is NOT going to get off. She won't. I don't think anyone can defend this. Jesse Jackson won't touch it. Al Sharpton won't touch it. Farrakhan won't touch it. Is she eligible for the death penalty on this one or did the prosecution wimp out? If this wasn't a torture slaying I don't know what was.

Hate crime charges are just absurd. Show me a love crime.

You are most correct sir.

Quick summary; Chante was coming home from the bar late one night. She just happens to hit a pedestrian. Pedestrian lodges in windshield. Shante drives home with pedestrian still in windshield. She parks car in garage and goes inside and leaves man in windshield. Turns out the guy had two broken legs and other multiple internal injuries, but was still alive. He struggles to extract himself but cannot.

Chante keeps coming back into the garage checking on him to see if he is dead yet. He takes a long time to die, several hours. He pleads with Chante to help him. Chante keeps going back inside to let him die alone.

The kicker is she even has sex with her boyfriend one of these times, who is Clete (you gotta love thiese names).

White guy eventually dies. Clete dumps the body and tries to destory the evidence in the car.

Chante gets caught because she was bragging to her friends one night about this white guy she kills. One of the friends turns her in to the police.

I cannot imagine more morrally banrupt people than these who would let a human suffer to such a degree and not show any remorse. It boggles my mind.

I too believe there cannot be such a thing as a hate crime, which in essense is a thought crime. However, we all like to point out that if the races would have been reversed, we would have seen national publicity, Jesse, Al and the other race baiters would have been here trying to use this to thier advantage and we would have seen NAACP commercials about it during the last elections.
