Bloomberg is just a Jewish David Dinkins - too liberal, too arrogant and too willing to impose his own views on others, illegalities notwithstanding. He's an absolute control freak! Pity that no one knew that before he was elected into office. I call him "little Hitler."

Amen sister. It's time we start to take back our country from these socialists, whether it's city by city, election by election, or however. I wish New York all the best. Pueblo, Colorado: the people are doing just this! They aren't standing still for any smoking ban!

Setting a drug-laced weed on fire in a public place because you like the effect of the drug is a "right"? That's laughable. Excuse me? How old are you! You sure your in the right forum?

Are you talking about a legal product and a legal act? I doubt that he is. How old is this guy?

You dumb tobacco adicts simply don't understand how offensive your addiction is. If a public business is there for me to be a customer, just because I go in doesn't mean I have to be subjected to any bahavior that some idiot and the owner think is OK. Make it a private club (like drinking places in dry areas), but if it is public, then comply with the standards for the conduct of public business. How old are you? You can't even spell.
I know you pathetic smokers are being shamed and taxed to your limits because of your terrible addiction. It is so sad. And, we are going to miss your taxes and having one group of people in this country that we can make fun of when tobacco is declared a prohibited product. But, 'til then, if I want to eat there and it's public, you can't smoke there.
If they ban tobacco, then you will have to pick up the tab, my friend. They will come after you and "your little addictions." Don't think they will? Your in for a treat. The world does not rotate on your arse. And tobacco has been around hundreds of years before you were even born.
I resent your put-downs of me and my fellow Conservatives on this thread because we are adults and choose to smoke a legal product. Better hide your dirt bike! The government is going to ban them, so word has it. heh!

I love it! Thanks for the link on the Pueblo article. All the bars and resteraunts in Tempe, AZ got ambushed last June with the no smoking ban, they/we need to take Pueblo's example and "put their butts out!"

All the bars and resteraunts in Tempe, AZ got ambushed last June with the no smoking ban, they/we need to take Pueblo's example and "put their butts out!" People, mainly business owners, are waking up to the lies of the anti's and seeing what is truly happening to businesses in Kookifornia, Canada and now Delaware and soon to be Boston and New York. The bans hurt businesses. Any loss of revenue is bound to hurt. People aren't going to take it anymore without a fight!

You can add places in Tempe (home of the 2003 College Football National Championships this Friday) in that group too. Family owned places have had to shut down, so smokers go to neighboring (and nearby) places to smoke. It's pathetic. The sports bars here are going to hurt and not bring in the revenue like they did 4 years ago when Tennessee played Florida St. Enough is enough.

The sports bars here are going to hurt and not bring in the revenue like they did 4 years ago when Tennessee played Florida St. Enough is enough. Business has already picked up in New Jersey from the New Yorkers. Business has already picked up in Maryland from the smokers in Delaware. Bars and restaurants are defying the law out in California.
Everyone knows that smoking in bars go hand-in-hand. If a person can not take being around smokers, then they do not work at a bar. And with the big smoke eaters the owners have installed today, this should not even be an issue, except to the prissy noses.
But, the anti's will be going after Maryland and New Jersey next. I just pray they have enough gumption to stand up to this hourde of control freaks like the people in Pueblo, CO are doing!

And with the big smoke eaters the owners have installed today, this should not even be an issue, except to the prissy noses. Absolutely! I am one of those "prissy noses" when it comes to smoke, and have noticed some of the places in Scottsdale and in other areas have installed those "smoke eaters." They work great! The owners are making a conscious effort to cater to *all* of their customers, and I can't appreciate it enough.
And yes, I am a non smoker. Never smoked, never will. If a place is too smokey, then I leave. If I request a non smoking section in a resteraunt, the smoke eaters take care of the smoke, and my meal isn't ruined.
If I'm in a bar, well, then that's the breaks. Most smokers I've encountered see that I don't have a cig in my hand, and are for the most part very courteous, so they keep their burning cig away from me. Plus the fact I (or we) can always sit outside...at least we have that luxury in Arizona :)
It's really not that difficult!

Tacis, I am going to laugh my ass off next time I see you crying over SUV or gasoline taxes.

I like it. From Tempe, to Pueblo, to Dover, and on to NY...the drum has to beat and show these (anti-smoking) fascists out the door.
To: SheLion
Excellent.
To: Tacis
Hi Tacis, it's been a looooong time, and you still haven't come up with new lines, shame on you.
