Wasn't Stephie essentially run out of the White House?

The only thing that qualifies George Stephanopoulos to host the ABC Sunday morning show is that he has the little body/big head mix that works well on TV. Other than that, George Stephanopoulos is a Democratic Party operative and has been for years. A person only has to watch the movie "The War Room" with Stephanopoulos and James Carville to understand how sickening it is for ABC to put Stephanopoulos in the position he is in. And the rumor is that they want him to eventually be evening news anchor.

The concept of a free press is based on the idea that a free press would be an HONEST and IMPARTIAL free press. ABC, by putting Stephanopoulos in the position he is in once again proves that the major news networks are simply dishonest. Nothing new about that but they better keep in mind they are not and have not been the only game in town anymore.

What next? George Stephanopoulos with "roundtable" co-hosts Patty Murray and Bill Maher? They might as well.

I am so glad Powell put the blame where it belongs! Inhofe did the same on CNN.

Good post, this part of Powell's reply shows which president was to blame. X42!

POWELL: Well, John Kerry is running for office. And I disagree with the senator as much as I respect him. The fact of the matter is that this [nuclear] program was not started during the Bush administration. It was started during the previous administration. Back in 1998 and 1999, the intelligence shows clearly that North Korea had embarked on a program of enriching uranium. And so, we inherited this problem. (End of Excerpt)

In fact, a November 1999 congressional report warned that the "Agreed Framework" negotiated with North Korea by the Clinton administration had given Pyongyang the capacity to produce 100 nuclear bombs per year.

The study was undertaken by the House North Korea Advisory Group, chaired by Rep. Benjamin A. Gilman, R-N.Y. Members of the panel included Rep. Doug Bereuter, R-Neb., then chairman of the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, Rep. Porter J. Goss, R-Fla., chairman of Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and Christopher Cox, R-Calif., then chairman of the Republican Policy Committee.

With more than a year left in President Clinton's term, the Advisory Group cautioned that the deal that was supposed to derail Pyongyang's nuclear weapons program had instead backfired.

Stephie looks like a cross between Tom Daschle (voice) and Dick Clark (hair, etc.).

Have the Democrats found one of Dr. Frankenstein's "cook books" and constructed him from specs or can he be considered part of Mother Nature's revenge for the invention of margerine?

"It's not nice to fool with Mother Nature.....Zot!"
