Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal indicated in a weekend interview that Saudi Arabia, the main launchpad in the 1991 Gulf War, would again allow the use of bases on its soil to attack Iraq should such action win full UN backing.

It took this long for the stupid bastards at the NYT, to admit they were wrong - and were mistaken about President Bush's ability to FORCE the UN to "Do the right thing"..

We are approaching a new era..
The UN will reform or be relegated to irrelevant status, with STRONG American opposition to high levels of financial support for the worthless idiots.
All "terrorists" or terrrorist wannabes - including the Saudis, North Koreans, IRA, Islamists, Drug Lords, Leftists, Marxists and various other worthless skin fillers worldwide - are on notice that the man in the White House - and the vast majority of AMERICANS are serious...

From what I remember, the story from a few weeks ago was that Saudi would let us use their bases for an attack on Iraq if the attack was U.N.-approved. I'm not saying that with 100% certainty, but that's how I remember it.
