She meant party as in a bunch of FReepers getting together in a restaurant for the express purpose of indulging in food, drinks and each other's fine company. And she's doing a FANTASTIC job of organizing the whole shebang! :)

I didn't realize he was only there learn and not have any fun.

Ummm...one Thursday a month, there is a social event here in L.A. (ATF night) that Jim not allows the host to make a thread for, he also allows him to put it in breaking news.
