She meant party as in a bunch of FReepers getting together in a restaurant for the express purpose of indulging in food, drinks and each other's fine company. And she's doing a FANTASTIC job of organizing the whole shebang! :)

The funny thing is, I met this guy at a Freeper party that was organized via ping lists and announcements.

I didn't realize he was only there learn and not have any fun.

Ummm...one Thursday a month, there is a social event here in L.A. (ATF night) that Jim not allows the host to make a thread for, he also allows him to put it in breaking news.

If you look on the front page of FR you will see support for our Veterans of war. Do you know any Dem sites that cater to that, or support war in the name of freedom?

Parties aplenty have been planned here on FR; funny you weren't "aware" of the various chapter party threads, since they are often found in Breaking News.
