Not on the left it doesn't. They just found a willing, useful igit to advance their hopeless, ill-fated agenda. Shoot, he's more one of 'them' than ever now...

Better for conservatives and the GOP...and America...for the Vacant Lott to go now. Best timing we could hope for. Now, TRENT!, do the right THING!
To: ApesForEvolution
Would America be better off if blacks and whites still were forced to drink out of seperate fountains, use seperate rest rooms, go to different government schools (which I abhor altogether, side note), etc.? That's the entire thrust of the 9 planks of the Dixiecrat Platform that Ole Trent pined for...again. No that is YOUR TWISTED READ-IN INTERPRETATION of Lott's remarks at Strom Thurmond's 100th birthday when he had the gall to say he would have made a great president. And that interpretation is exactly the same as the Race Baiting Pimps of the Democratic Party. You seem to fit in well there.
The KKK Grand Wizard a/k/a Senator Bryd can go on TV and say "White N*ggers" twice and there is nary a peep out of the republicans. Funny how republicans can overlook overt racist comments like this from a Southern Democrat yet, jump all over one of their own for some construed "hidden meaning" within general respectful remarks honoring the oldest living Senator at his 100th birthday celebration.
Ya know, we are reaching that point in time when every public and private comment a republican may wish to utter will have to be pre-reviewed and sanitized by a crew of PC analysts before a republican can speak a single word.

LOL, your people drain off votes from Republicans, or don't vote at all, then esteem yourselves as saviors and everything else. I'm conservative, probably much more so than any of you could ever be, but for all you understand about "principle," you are seriously lacking in other needed traits that it takes to actually accomplish something. But nevermind that; I will be seeking your infallible advice when the CBC' agenda is inacted due to conservative help in unseating Lott from ofc. I want to know how you are going to reverse the after-affects of the new reality, that the GOP will have to support AA and all the other things we have fought against for 30 years. You perfect solution will be needed at that time, (and friend, it sure as hell isn't the LP; if that's your cure, it is much, much worse than any disease ever could be).

Im particuarly annoyed at his cave-in to the CBC but stands up to his party critics. Why does he have a backbone all of a sudden to Republicans? The guy is a fruitloop and Im plain sick of him. The sooner he lets his leadership go and just fight the good fight by letting someone else lead, the better we all are.
To: CFC__VRWC
It's possible he could, if allowed to remain in the Senate, use the next 4 years to sabotage the Republican Party as a parting shot Well Lott will just be another senator with limited power. Clearly will do less damage than the other RINOs we suffer. Clearly preferable for Lott to stay than for him to be replaced during 2003 by Espy. What should happen is our guys should do a better job of counter-attacking the dems on these phoney racism charges leveled at Lott. But what else is new.

Ohhhh!
Oh, I see..
If things go sour then the lynch mob washes their hands of the matter..
But if things go well, then you were right?
Like I said, don't be a hypocrite if there is a price to be paid for this.
Get some balls.
