Renquist and O'Conner already voted to uphold the law in Bowers V Harwick (Which was one of the best Supreme Court Decisions of all time.)
Scalia and Thomas will probably vote with them.
Stephens already voted pro-sodomite, I suspect Ginsburg, Souter and Breyer will go along with him.
That leaves Kennedy as the deciding vote.
Our Founders never intended for Sodomy to be a right. Every single colony had laws against sodomy before our nation's founding, and after it's founding every single state had a law against sodomy, all the way into the 1900's.
To this day several states still have sodomy laws on the books.
The immoral hippies of the 1960's have no right to impose their agenda on the rest of America.
If the Court Overturns Bowers, I pray that God unleashes his wrath.
Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever." Thomas Jefferson.
For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The LORD will judge His people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:30-31 NKJV

The immoral hippies of the 1960's have no right to impose their agenda on the rest of America. And you have no right, nor the authority to use force and the governments gun to prevent and make criminal what my wife and I do sexually in our home between consenting adults.

You and your ilk would get along just fine with the Taliban.
Sodomy and other fun stuff between consenting adults, of either gender, is no one else's business.

"If the Court Overturns Bowers, I pray that God unleashes his wrath"
He already has. Its called "AIDS".
In the 18th Century British navy you could hung for buggery. It was in the Code of Admiralty Laws. I suggest we resurrect it.

I pray that God unleashes his wrath. He has. It's called AIDS! The unfortunate thing is that it has also touched some who are innocent!

If the Court Overturns Bowers, I pray that God unleashes his wrath. Since you obviously have a direct line to the Almighty, can you tell us what form this will take? A rain of frogs? A reign of Democrats? A Dow-Jones close of 666? The EU expanded to include Quebec? Will He cause the World Trade Center to be rebuilded unto Heaven, that He may once again smite it?

Kind of scary considering you are a cop, don't ya'll have all the "wars" you can handle?

I believe you have it backwards.. you have no right to impose your believes on others. Those who choose to act in this matter have every right to behind close doors. So sad that you don't believe in freedom.

I disagree with the law. Anal/oral sex is illegal in Texas, but apparently applied exclusively to gays. Either apply it uniformly, or not at all!!!!!!!!!!!

I have read through the first 150 responses to this thread. Unfortunately, I do not have the time at the moment to read the remaining 400 or so. Therefore, I would appreciate if you would answer the following questions concisely and in your own words, just so I can get a feeling for where you're coming from:
a.)Do you believe the practice of oral sex between a man and a woman should be illegal? If so, what is an appropriate penalty?
b.)Do you think one should have the right to practice Judaeism in the U.S.?
c.)Do you think one should have the right to practice Islam in the U.S.?
d.)Early in the thread, you stated that you supported a three-month jail term for blasphemy. With that in mind, if a movement to revoke the first amendment by constitutional means was started, would you support it?
e.)Do you think Vice President Cheney's daughter should be executed for being a lesbian?
f.)What are your feelings on so-called "former" homosexuals who have since renounced the lifestyle? Do you think that they should be punished for their homosexuality retroactively?
