Tuesday, Dec. 10

The Peace Prize Performance by the Oslo Schools will take place at Oslo City Hall at 3:30 p.m. local time (9:30 a.m. ET)

Nobel Peace Prize Concert, Oslo Spektrum, Norway, at 7:00 p.m. local time (12 p.m. ET). Billed as a ..."musical tribute to a great man of peace."

A live Webcast of The 2002 Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony at the Oslo City Hall, Norway, Dec. 10, 1 p.m. local time (7 a.m. ET) is available at:

Live Interview With President Carter

CNN's "Prize for Peace: Nobel 2002", a Jonathan Mann interview with President Carter, will air live 2 1/2 hours after the ceremony on CNN International (all regions), 11 a.m.-noon ET, Dec. 10.

The interview will be rebroadcast in its entirety on the following dates:

Dec. 11, 4 a.m. ET, CNN/USA;
Dec. 11, 6 a.m. ET, CNN International's Asia/Latin America/South Asia feed;
Dec. 14, 2 p.m. ET, CNN International's Europe/North America feed;
Dec. 15, 2 a.m. ET, CNN International's Asia/South Asia feed;
Dec. 15, 1 p.m. ET, CNN International's Europe/North America feed;
Dec. 15, 7 p.m. ET, CNN International's Latin America feed.

Atlanta-Based Media Coverage

Dec. 10, 9-10 p.m. ET, WSB TV (local ABC affiliate) will air its Nobel Peace Prize special. Anchors John Pruitt and Monica Kaufman will also cover the event live from Oslo on the 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. news.

Dec. 10, 7 p.m., WGCL TV (local CBS affiliate) will broadcast a 30-minute special, hosted by Jane Robelot.

Nobel Peace Concert

The Nobel Peace Concert, a "musical tribute to a great man of peace," will take place Dec. 11 at 12 p.m. ET. The concert will be broadcast on the A&E cable network Jan. 25, 2003 (time slot tba). The tribute will be hosted by Sir Anthony Hopkins and Jessica Lange and will feature musical performances by Jessye Norman, Carlos Santana and others (see the complete list of performers).
