"I absolutely loved him having Lauren Green play the piano!"

Wow, was that Lauren Green? I didn't even realize it. I sort of had one eye on the TV and the other checking the LA returns on the internet.

But, overall, I thought the show was better than average. The opening monologue was fantastic -- although I can't remember what he talked about. The cozy ambiance added a little sophistication to Saturday night television -- as did the interview with Dick Cheney, of course.

I too liked Cal's opening, but I forget what he talked about. I could have lived without that guy singing at the end.

I thought it looked like Lauren Greene, also. It was just a profile shot, but it looked an awful lot like her. I liked what little I saw of the show. He reminded me of Mr. Rogers.

** The opening monologue was fantastic**

He talked about America taking the religion out of Christmas and Hannukah.
