Maybe someone can explain this, but there was money involved with Ritter later. If I remember correctly, he recieved funding from Iraq for one of his pet projects? He also wrote a book. The guy was after cash more than WMD. He was bought off, but I don't remember the whole story.

I know what you mean. Scott made some good comments about the time the last round of inspections ended. Meanwhile he was actually hired by the Iraqi government to conduct PR or some other effort on behalf of them. I know this isn't the exact description of his duties, but it seems his attituge turned 180 degrees after his employment. Soiled goods...

Ritter was cnbc last night really ripping the White House. Talk about shrill.... if Clinton were still in the White House and Ritter made those statements about the White House, Ritter would have been Foster-ized in a heartbeat.

Tierney answered this question on Sean Hannity as well. His opinion is that Ritter went way out on a limb for his country and was rewarded by the administration cutting the limb off then jumping out of the tree to stab him in the back before he could get up. This is a paraphrase, but I do remember it was pretty close to that.
