I'm going to say something which might be a little controversial considering my reputation. Over the past year, I've developed somewhat of a reputation as a sort of 'Van Helsing of the Jehadi websites'. Now, I'm going to publicly praise and complement JehadUnspun: I think that are delivering a very valuable service to America and all of humanity by translating the jehadis sick and hate-dripped rantings into English. It is very important that free people everywhere know what is being said by these lunatics on hundreds of websites and chatrooms.

Don't get me wrong. I think we should continue to protest this slick Canadian site to the media, law enforcement, and the ISPs which host it. JehadUnspun supports "martyrdom operations" (a.k.a. Homicide) against Americans. In the "Jehad Theater" you can now see a video (for a subscription fee) of THE 19 MARTYRS -- glorifying the attacks on the WTC -- including the last wills of three of them.

But compare JehadUnspun to MESA. Both orgs are working for Islamist evil. One through action the other by inaction.  After 9-11, the U.S. Government gave millions of dollars to the Middle East Studies Association (MESA)  for Arabic translators. But, MESA is not translating this and hundreds of other Arabic websites planning our death and destruction. If not today or tomorrow, we will soon see something worse than Kenya or even the WTC.  Americans, your tax dollars were flushed down the toilet. Ask your Senator to fix this problem.

When I click onto the mojahedoon site, I get nice Arabic but English jibberish - looks like Turkish.

Could this be a CIA cover site? The Eid is supposed to last for 3 full days, in some places, 5 days. I've never heard of 2 days of eid. Only the CIA could be so tech savvy and Islamically uninformed.

However, I am concerned about tomorrow - Friday, Eid after Ramadan - perfect time for some A**hole to do something big (esp. in the afternoon). Also, the next Friday the 13th, as they know our superstitions and may want to wait until after the eid is completely over all around the world.

I don't think that the al-Qaeda operatives who really know their plans would post detailed threats on public Internet boards, but an increased level of excitement and generalized threats has been remarked upon by those who watch the boards closely. It's possible that this is all disinformation, of course, but if al-Qaeda repeatedly raises expectations without following through, they risk losing the confidence and enthusiasm of their supporters.

The people posting in these chatrooms seems to be aware now, perhaps for the first time, that their words are being watched closely, and they may take advantage of this direct conduit to the West to spread lies and mislead us.
