SANTA MARIA, California (Reuters) -- Pop star Michael Jackson told a court Wednesday that, like Walt Disney, he had been blessed by God with a gift for creating family entertainment, but found himself lacking business skills.

He compares himself to Disney? I think "Goofy" is closer to the mark!!
To: Vinnie_Vidi_Vici
I think it's pretty close to the mark. They have both turned a different colour.
Either that or Snow White.

Funny, I don't recall that Walt Disney molested little boys.

Pinocchio. Only in reverse.

Don't be too sure about that. There were big rumors about Walt Disney and his liking for little boys. I was in shock the first time I heard these rumours. I don't know if there was any proof on this but people still say things about Walt Disney. But when he died those kinds of things were never brought up in public or in court so we will never know.

Yea... The Hardy Boys... Spin and Marty.
I remember him always having a couple of kids on at the beginning of the show.
Granted, the show was for kids but it makes one wonder.

I don't know if there was any proof on this but people still say things about Walt Disney. Is it possible that's because he was an anti-Commie conservative who voted Republican?

The entertainer watched the tape closely, at one point snickering at his own image. Yeah, he is quoted to have gasped, "Where the hell is my nose?"

Like I said - I don't know if any of it was true. I personally thought Walt Disney was a genius. I remember the Wonderful World of Disney when I was a kid on Sunday nights. It was so magical for me.
To: areafiftyone
Walt's big passion was to put cartoons to classical music, like with his masterpiece, "Fantasia".

"Walt Disney was a very creative man and a visionary," Jackson said. "He loved creating family-oriented entertainment and so do I.. . .A big difference being that Walt didn't consider crotch-grabbing to be an art form.

"Jackson denied pulling out of the millennium shows and said Avram canceled them because "the government" would not allow them to fly across the international dateline on New Year's Eve. The singer said he did not remember which government objected to the flight."
Don't you think there would be some record of a protest? Didn't other performers do this "jump timezones" thing to perform twice?
He is just lost!
Miss Ryder, "Your Honor, the clerk at the store said I could take any clothes I wanted".
Judge, "Which CLerk?"
Miss Ryder, "Ummmm, I don't remember which one."
