While the exact lineup won't be determined until after Saturday's games, BCS officials determined during their weekly conference call Tuesday that Iowa will be one of its participants.
"We have been assured that Iowa will be in the BCS system," said Big Ten Associate Commissioner Sue Lister. "We don't know which game, but that's a conference statement."

Must be some pretty strong assurances for the Big Ten to allow their teams to lock up bowl bids. If Iowa doesn't get a BCS bowl, they'd be relegated to the Aloha Bowl.
