The report stated that "there had been three "hunting" accidents reported in Virginia ,so far this season. In one ACCIDENT, a 62 year old man was found dead of an apparent heart attack, as was a second 70 year old man who had been out hunting. He was found next to a dead deer. In the third incident, a VA lawman had an accidental discharge from a black powder gun, which wounded him, when getting down from a tree stand."

There are more than one things wrong with this "report". the most blatant is the disguising of a heart attack event while hunting as being a "hunting accident"! Where do these anti-2nd ammendment people quit?

I heard of a man who had a terrible accident. He was lying in the Operating Room at the local hospital, having gallstones removed. He suffered a massive heart attack and died right there. Terrible accident. I'm just not sure if it qualifies as "hunting" accident.
What's that? You say it has nothing to do with hunting? And it doesn't really sound like an accident at all, but more like a medical event? Maybe so.

I wonder how many "Soccer Accidents" we had just yesterday of Sucker Moms crashing their SUVs while talking on the phone, holding their Starbucks, checking their day-timers, and swatting at the kids in the back seat while changing the DVD in the player???

All I know is that my 65 year old hubby is leaving for his annual hunting trip this afternoon, and I pray that he and his whole party will return safely.

Having a fatal coronary while out in the woods with a rifle in hand is up near the top of the "how edskid wants to shuffle off the mortal coil" list.

"a 62 year old man was found dead of an apparent heart attack"
Buck Fever can be a devastating illness. If one has not developed an immunity by the age of 25, then there is no hope.
Symptoms include: violent shaking, unable disengage safety of firearm, falling out of tree stands, slack-jaw, unresponsiveness to peers and graying of hair. The Mayo Clinic states that there is no known cure except for harvesting the biggest deer that you have ever seen.

Cute picture, but you can tell it wasn't taken in Wisconsin -- no blaze orange attire!
Seriously, a man from my town shot his friend while hunting last week. He's being investigated for
1)Hunting out of season
2) Not wearing blaze orange while carrying a gun.
Is anybody asking if he had a gurdge or fight with his companion? Not yet.....
