I feel sorry for the first of my Republican friends who reports to me that he sided with Johnson. I never imagined we had this many RINO's in this state. It makes me sick to my stomach to see these numbers when Pubbies supposedly outnumber Dims by a large margin. My sister is a rino, and skipped voting this year, I asked her last night to change her registration. Morons. Just am still too dang livid to post about it much.

What is with all these Liberatarian votes that look like they cost Thune the election. Does anyone have the capacity to think up there?

A friend of my wife stopped by on election night. She said that she had voted a straight ticket w/ the exception of Johnson. I railed on her for 15 minutes about the greed she showed by voting for a chance at power and federal funds vs. voting for a pro-life conservative. I then asked her how much she would sell my children's lives for. She left.

I feel really bad for John Thune. The election fraud on the Indian reservations need to be stopped. This is not a two year house seat, but a SIX year Senate term. John Ensign conducted a recount when he so narrowly lost to Harry Reid and did it with dignity. He came back to win 2 years later. I say to John Thune--do it you owe to your supporters and to the integrity of our voting system.

If you have a beatiful state, you have RINOS. They migrate in to take over and many claim to be Republicans...until they actually are faced with voting for a real one.

In the words of a man I someday soon hope to forget,"I feel your pain". I really do. I know how bad I felt when I logged onto Free Republic Tuesday morning after thinking Thune had one and then seeing it snatched away...probably fraudulently. Being a veteran of many campaigns I can only imagine how you must feel. Here's a case where the best man certainly did not win.
I hope you can find consolation in the fact that Daschle is no longer Majority Leader, that President Bush now has a Congress he can work with, that John Thune's talents will be put to good use in the service of his country and that he lives to fight another day! And I hope that day is in 2004 and his opponent is the dwarf Daschle.
