Rumsfeld has no knowledge of politics, says Asefi (from Iran with love?)

Tehran, Nov 4, IRNA -- Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi Monday said the recent anti-Iran remarks by US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld showed that he had absolutely no knowledge of politics.

Rumsfeld was cited as saying in Washington on Wednesday that he saw signs of an early overthrow of the Islamic Republic by the Iranian people, or the government collapse.

Speaking at his weekly press conference, Asefi said Iran considers Rumsfeld's recent remarks to have been uttered by one who has no knowledge of politics.

Thats right Mr. Assfi, Rumsfeld has no experience as a politician. He's A Warrior - And A Damn Smart One At That!

I'd dig that foxhole a little deeper if I were you Mr Assfi.

...Defense Donald Rumsfeld showed that he had absolutely no knowledge of politics...this became obvious today - with the Dow up more than 200 points earlier today, Rumsfeld in midafternoon made some comment about soon calling up the National Guard and Reserves in preparation for going into Iraq - CNBC credited that with the immediate decline in the Dow by 150 points, to end the day up by only 50. The Dow ending the day before the elections up by something like 200 points could well have been worth another percentage point or two in several Senate races around the country tomorrow - couldn't the dunderhead have waited until Wednesday to tell the public what it already suspects anyhow?......
