My only problem with this incident is this.Had the gaurd been an off duty policeman,he would not have been arrested.He would have been given time off,with pay while the shooting was investigated and reinstated after it was determined to be a rightous shoot.

I just hope that this doesn't lead to having some impoverished parents "encouraging" one of their children to shoplift in order to be able to sue for millions of dollars as a result of the child being shot and possibly killed by the store's security people.
