So sad. Prayers for him, his family and friends.

And I hope they catch whoever did this ASAP.

I hadn't heard about this story, what did they think happened to him --- did they think someone abducted him?

Horrible sad news for his family.

I am so sorry...

You don't have to answer my prior post, I have been reading about him now since I just clicked on your "keyword" Christopher Dixon and read your many posts on this story.

I had never seen any of them, what a horrible outcome for all of you who knew him, and your whole community.

Disappearance of High Point teen atypical

10-31-02

By CHERIS HODGES, Staff Writer

News & Record

HIGH POINT -- Police say they are dealing with an unusual case in the disappearance of 13-year-old Christopher Dixon a week ago.

They have yet to find any evidence that the boy was abducted, though they have not ruled out the possibility.

Christopher Edward Dixon, 13, is 5 feet tall and weighs 90 pounds. He has light brown hair and bluish-green eyes. He wears glasses. On Thursday afternoon, he was wearing a light blue, short sleeved shirt and dark blue pants.

But it's not a typical runaway case, either. In most such cases, there's a family problem or other serious issue that causes a child to run away, and that doesn't appear to be the case, said police spokesman Lt. Jim Tate.

Thanks for keeping us updated on this sad story, God'sgrrl. So Sorry it truned out badly. Poor little kid.
