But the hard core gay rights activists have won.It will always be a weak, shaky, unsteady victory--and the gay lobby knows it. They will never know more than partial, grudging acceptance from most Americans. And there will be resolute and even fierce resistence from others.
That's a very good point. People can say all they want about how "normal" homosexuals are, but I'm willing to bet that 99% of Americans would be alarmed to hear that one of their kids is gay.
