They are counting on a slight bump from this the week before the elections - similar to a Presidential convention.

The Democrats have been looking for a tit-for-tat payback for the revelation by Ronald Reagan that he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's, in the days just before the 1994 election. They've never forgotten it, and many of them cling to the belief that it was a big reason they got their heads handed to them that time.

To me it's obvious that is what they are hoping will happen with Wellstone's death.

As one Freeper has mentioned, it reminded me of a Munich rally of the Nazis in memory of Horst Wessel. These people will do anything to stay in power AND humiliate and slander the opposition.

Mark my words - if the Dems regain the Senate and House (and we elect Shillary as Prez), they will make an attempt to change the Constitution so that we are no longer a Constitutional Republic. That want a pure Democracy since their demographics favor this form of government. They have no shame and will destroy our country just to stay in power.
