Jesse Jackson On MS-NBC - Claims Jeb Bush's Daughter Is Getting Special Treatment Over Drug Arrests
MS-NBC's Buchanan & Press | jstone78

Posted on 10/28/2002 12:43:56 PM PST by jstone78

Did anyone of you see Jesse Jackson on the Buchanan & Press show on MS-NBC a few minutes ago? He was promoting McBride's candidacy as Governor of Florida.

But he went ahead and made a cheap shot, implying that Jeb Bush's daughter is getting special treatment over her drug problems, while youths from other (presumably poor & minority) families get sent to, in Jackson's words, "jail, jail, jail".

Even by Jesse Jackson's standards, that is a new low. He is taking advantage of a family's personal pain, in order to derive political benefit for his favored candidate for office.

McBride should be asked to repudiate the support of Rev. Jesse Jackson, in order to show he does not approve of such divisiveness.

This can be countered so easily. Nicole Bush did not get near the sympathy nor favors that Daryl Strawberry, an African-American baseball player, received from the courts. And Nicole just spent 10 days in Jail-Jail-Jail!

I would feel so much safer if Strawberry and Bush's daughter would be in jail

The REAL PROBLEM is the asinine WOD

Black conservative ping

If you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)

Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

HA! McBride wouldn't repudiate the support of Bishop Curry (radio blowhard, former prez of Miami-Dade NAACP) after he told his radio audience (right before McBride was scheduled to appear on his show that day) that President Bush is a Nazi and the Bush family conspired with bin Laden to attack America.

I'm sure we'll see McBride and Jackson snuggling up together soon. (barf)

Lots of people grouse about Jesse not having a job. Not true. You are seeing what his job is. Every election cycle he is trotted out by the democrats to keep blacks on the federal plantation. For that he is very well compensated.

Listen I have a bit of good news. President Bush came to Alamogordo NM this morning and had 10,000 FOLK TURNOUT!! While next door from NM, El Paso hosted the DEMONcRATS, Tony Sanchez, and some other candidates for the RATS had a dismal turn out of around 4,000 or less. The RAT City PAPER reported that perhaps close to 4,000 showed up, BUT in our local news they reported hundreds instead of thousands! REMEMBER THIS CITY IS RAT CONTROLLED!! Bawhahahhaha!! OUR W IS KICKIN BUTT EVERYWHERE HE GOES!!!! Keep him in your prayers!!

Did Jesse's other son (not Junior) get special treatment from Budweiser when he got a Budweiser distributorship?

If I were Jesse Jackson I wouldn't be talking about special treatment. I'd just be thankful for what I've gotten.

kAcknor Sez:

The short answer? Not many. It is MS-NBC after all. You probably more than doubled the number of people who know about it by asking the question here.

It's time for Jackson to go into retirement for a decade or two. Afterwards, he may have a chance at a substitute run for Congress at the last minute. ;)

There is either a War on Drugs, or it is a "family's personal pain." You can't have it both ways.

At least Jackson is less extreme in this regard than some of Free Republic's drug warriors, who have been known to call for executions of illegal drug users.
