I hope some 'real authority' (not the elections office) has the serial numbers of the machines and results cartridges documented and checks for any mysterious return of them.

On the postive side, we're dealing with people who can't match a name to a hole on a piece of paper, and think we're so dumb we won't kick their clymers across the county if they pull the usual dirty tricks on election day. (^:
