Sometimes resistance is futile: it's a big world out there, and there are indications (like this article) that the ideas of the Founders are spurring awakenings among formerly oppressed regions and peoples.

I have no desire to combat with reason communitarian zombies who have voluntarily rendered themselves witless , or to spend my happiness, property or life in defense of dirt: the ideas that I revere are portable, and welcome wherever people observe the Golden Rule.

Some of my ancestors came here fleeing tyranny; the time may come when the ancestral homelends entice me back.

I've taken note of numerous places around the globe where U.S. expats have formed little communities. Even in places like Chile, where the restrictions on general freedom are more severe than ours, these folks are relitively more free than we: these countries' governments are very vertical in their effect, and it's easy to remain out of the searchlight of scrutiny. Here, my neighbor is calling the authorities when I have a pile of horse dung higher than the town ordinances allow. I'm inclined to run away.

Would you care to share some of those places? Seriously, I would like to know.
