A new mujahideen-tale from Azzam: 16 US commandos killed in Afghan missile attack

Sixteen US commandos were killed when Afghan mujahideen launched a ferocious missile attack targetting Khost's Sahara Garden Airbase on the night of Friday 18 October. In total 5 missiles were fired, all of which successfully hit the airport's inner portion and left a devastating aftermath.

Many more were seriously injured. Coalition warplanes immediately made concentrated flights over the airport to locate the attackers, all of which were in vain.

The attack was planned and carried out with precision resulting in chaos and mayhem among the US troops as the missiles hit their targets.

An eye witnesses reported of a loud commotion being heard from the US troops as they rushed around in confusion, and that there was a significant amount of tension among the US ranks present.

The situation was so grave, that a 35 military convoy, carrying some 500 troops arrived in Khost from Kabul to help in the effort to settle.

Meanwhile in Paktia province, German troops raided a house, but were met by blind fire from the residents, who managed to break through the encirclement and escape. This forced the Germans to make a quick retreat. The owner of the house sustained injuries during exchange of fire.

What is amazing is that they don't even bother to try to make their lies believable. Are they from Berkley by any chance?

Served up from Everyone's Interent in Houston Texas -- http://www.Azzam.com -- IP-address 216.40.201.216. EV1.NET is also the home of other neo-nazi websites such as stormfront.org. It looks like someone in Houston doesn't like Jewish people.

Note: Azzam is just doing a page re-direct. The actual site is located at Vibus in Belfast, North Ireland. http://www.waaqiah.com -- IP-address 62.253.235.184.  I wonder if this ISP is allied to the Ulster Union or Sinn Fein?

Azzam is one of the most important Jehadi sites. Abdullah Azzam was the 'spiritual' mentor of bin Laden. and a founder of Al-Qaeda

The Institute for Counter Terrorism in Israel reports: "Above all is the web site of the main ideological direction of the global Jihad – http://www.azzam.com

There is a long list of research about Azzam.com at: FreeRepublic

Azzam's Fatwa was the requirement that Muslims "kill Americans and their allies-civilians and military" -- and the hijackers carried it out.

After 9/11 European hackers who broke into www.Azzam.de German subscriber list and discovered an e-mail address for Said Bahaji, a fugitive identified as the computer geek of the 9-11 hijack cell based in Hamburg.

ICT in Israel has a report onSheikh Abdullah Azzam

Time Magazine writes:
Al-Qaeda had its origins in the long war against the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. After Soviet troops invaded the country in 1979, Muslims flocked to join the local mujahedin in fighting them. In Peshawar, Pakistan, which acted as the effective headquarters of the resistance, a group whose spiritual leader was a Palestinian academic called Abdallah Azzam established a service organization to provide logistics and religious instruction to the fighters. The operation came to be known as al-Qaeda al-Sulbah—the "solid base."

16 US commandos killed in Afghan missile attack

Was this before or after they shot down 27 B52's with their glorious AK47's?

No, it was with catapults. Or did they destroy those 12 M-1A2's with the catapults? They sank the Nimitz with a rowing boat and a firecracker though.

Demunderground is the strongest argument I've seen for not legalizing drugs. Every time I peruse the lunacy exhibited on that site, I marvel at the sheer stupidity (and foul language) of the posters. Here are people who think they know something, but don't know anything. Yes it's so intelligent to declare that you are "so effing outraged" at the "Bush crime family" or some such rot. When a person uses expletives in an argument, they usually don't have a legitimate one. Clearly some of the dumbest people on the planet.

And the poor spelling adds to that. They can't even get their titles sorted out. I realize everyone makes spelling mistakes when they get in a hurry (guilty of that myself), but some of the stuff I've seen at that site takes the cake.

There's virutally no way of telling what one of their articles is about before you open the thread because they invent their own opener- usually preceded by OMG!!! and trailed by another handful of exclamation points (presumedly to let people know the poster is astonished that he/she just had a thought). DU is pretty good for comic relief but it is troubling to view this in the context of just how far our nation's youth have fallen- most of the posters there are teens it seems.
